Background — Collaborative Design and Art Project

2006 — Pandora's Box / Vision Sketches for an Idea by Abel Robino Galerie Joëlle Possémé, 46 rue Trousseau, Paris, France (10 February – 4 April 2006). Collaborative project featuring texts by José Toño Martínez, notes and sketches by Abel Robino, and object design and production by Gonzalo Bartha. Documented as a work in progress in La Pecera No. 10 (Mar del Plata, Summer 2005).

2021 — One Subject. One Us - Virtual photographic exhibition. Librería & Espacio Cultural El Balcón / Secretariat of Communication and Public Relations, Universidad Nacional de Mar del Plata. Presented as part of the University's 60th Anniversary. Mar del Plata, Argentina. 2020 — Calcareous: A Space of Patterns and Myths - Exhibition at Espacio de Arte Gustavo Teruel, Mar del Plata, Argentina. March–June 2020. The opening was affected by the beginning of the mandatory COVID-19 lockdown.

Active Series

Morphological Patterns — A modular photographic series initiated in 2015, based on the transformation of photographic fragments through rotation and mirroring to construct autonomous visual structures. The project is organised into conceptual chapters. Chapter I — Structure comprises 10 black-and-white works (TM-I-01 to TM-I-10), while Chapter II — Language extends the investigation into colour through a further 10 works (TM-II-01 to TM-II-10). All works are pigment prints on cotton paper, 30 × 30 cm, in an edition of 7 + 2 Artist's Proofs (A/P) per work.

Conceptual Framework

Interfascze — A visual research system developed since 1995, investigating how artificial environments structure perception and, through it, shape cognition, identity, and behavior. It articulates three interrelated dimensions of the photographic image: Fase (material trace), Face (surface and code) and Faze (transsubjective system).
